Conduct an ideation session.

Questions:

  • How many teams will there be?
  • What themes/ideas will be shared by the teams?
  • What will the challenges and constraints be?


Keep in mind: "game design" can be defined very broadly, beyond just creating a single game with a single game engine. It can be a combination of media, such as coded digital games, analogue games, cinematics, music composition, narrative design, analogue visual art, etc.
