Piskel

Methods for creating your avatar in Piskel
- Drawing freehand
- Tracing your own drawing that you have digitized
- Tracing a downloaded image or photo
Here is the proper way to copy image elements in Piskel:
(Btw: it's not intuitive!)
First, make sure the image element you want to copy is drawn on a SEPARATE layer.
- Use selection tool (Rectangular, or Lasso)
- Select the area around the image element
- Cmmd/Cntrl+C to copy
- Drag selection area (don't click anywhere else!)
- Cmmd/Cntrl+V to paste, to finish the process
Glitch tools
Actual glitches data bending can be tricky and unpredictable. Fortunately, there are tools to create "glitchalikes" adding effects to your image to make them look like damaged data.
