What to do if you feel finished with your Construct game?

  • Add sound effects and background music
  • Make an intro screen (backstory; controls)
  • Add bonus levels at end
  • Add additional levels in-between (or a divergent path)
  • Create an easter egg layout
  • Add animations to motionless sprites (even blinking eyes can be cool)
  • Make a rage-game version of your project: copy your project, and then go wild with property settings and experimentation!

What to do if you feel finished with your Twine story?

  • Add more graphics
  • Add a soundtrack (I can help with this)
  • Add secret passages that are hard to find
  • Add an epilogue

What to do if you are REALLY feeling done with your own project?

  • Assist someone who could use the help (make extra graphics; make sound effects; etc.)
  • Be a play-tester
  • Decorate your own webpage with more graphics, etc.

Glitch tools

Actual glitches — data bending — can be tricky and unpredictable. Fortunately, there are tools to create "glitchalikes" — adding effects to your image to make them look like damaged data.
