Week 6
Project 1 Progress Presentations
Discussion guidelines for teams
Project 1 expectations
Actual requirements for Project 1
- Use HTML5 template
- All outside sources must be credited
- Design elements must be your own, unless they are bone fide research artifacts, in which case they need to be credited (and should be marked up with a <figure> and a <figcaption> for source information)
Beyond this: I'm looking for something worthy of 50% of the total project credit. You are not under pressure to "solve" the intellectual issues behind your topic in just one weekwork on this project will continue as a component of Project 2.
What I want to see is your personal work (research, ideations) and your work with your primary audience to find an outward form that can be of interest to a secondary audience. The research you started with may still be central to the final form of the project, or it may just be the starting point that led you to other things that will determine the final form. The project can even convey the sense that you have not resolved thingsin which case it could be interesting to understand the point from which you started to the point at which you will be by Week 7.
