Project 1 team discussion guidelines

First part

The designer shall reacquaint the group with the project materials

• Research (best components)

• Sketches

• Mashups

• Notes and stories from your interactions with your selected primary audience participants

Second part

Team's questions for designer/producer:

Taking notes is highly recommended!!!

1. How has your topic focus changed in the last couple of weeks?

2. What seems more interesting in terms of a presentation for a secondary audience?

1. The research and the argument/perspective that drives it.

2. The relationships with the primary participants.

3. What form would you like to see this project take in the next week?*

• A documentary essay?

• A persuasive argument?

• A tale? (traditional narrative, possibly veering into fiction)

• An introspective, personal investigation?

• Something experimental and open-ended?

* Understanding that this project will continue development throughout the semester.

Third part

Presentation

Teams will present progress presentations as a group. Tell us how the discussions went.

Differences in opinion are welcome – they're evidence of team engagement.
