Project 2: Personal Project

Week 11 (4/16) Personal project proposal

Week 14 (5/7) Finalized personal project

As a component of your design team's Project 2, you will create a second version of your Project 1. While the first project was structured as a research project that blossoms into an interactive process of inquiry, this next version is open to your own aspirations.

It might be a good idea to continue working with the same individuals chosen for Project 1, but you can make changes as necessary.

Project proposal

Answer the following in a paper that will be attached to your portfolio site (.doc or PDF). Each answer deserves a good solid paragraph, except for the first question that probably will require at least half a page.

1. In what direction would you like to take this project? How would it change in subject matter, purpose and outward form?

2. How would this project continue to be a process of inquiry?

3. What role would interactive participation play in the formation of this project?

4. What role would interactive participation play in the finished interface?

Finished project

Whatever form this personal project takes, it should utilize the technologies introduced in this class: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery. Mobile responsiveness and PHP would be rather nice, but they are not required.

This will be a separate web-based project, and not a makeover of your original Project 1. That said, you are welcome to cannibalize your Project 1 as much as desired.
