The idea behind tantric sexual union is to stir Kundalini energy through erotic impulses. This energy rises upwards in the body and, if harnessed correctly, allows the participants to achieve enlightenment. The ironic truth is that the opponents to sexual spirituality have been correct all along: sexual union is an animalistic endeavor, and a biological means to an end! We certainly do not frown upon any sort of eroticism or sexual conduct. We simply maintain that the source of the ultimate reality is the Cosmos. Enlightenment is not something drawn into the body while curled in the warmth of quivering flesh, but is (and has always been) the act of Reintegration of our incomplete flesh to Cosmotic Nature. Coitus divorced from Cosmotic virtues, regardless of how contemplative or focused, will achieve no more than a thrilling orgasm and a reaffirmation of life steeped in reorganized nature.
Nature has given us a body to rut with. We are fortunate that the rutting which enchances a life entrenched in biospheric warmth is the same rutting that can propel the Matured Seeker into the bosom of the Cosmos. The coital act does not require intellectual distancing or any harnessing of oneself. When we rut in Cosmotic environments, we should become like animals -- minds not on the everlasting but upon flesh, fluids and vigorous force. A natural combustion of the heat of our flesh will rise like the fabled Kundalini, and at orgasm we shall reach a critical point. If rutting has been performed correctly, our biological energy will be expended and drift from us, allowing the Cosmotic virtues to seize us profoundly. Our senses will be wide open, and our intellects cleansed and ready for Reintegration. We do uphold that erotic Reintegration is the most sanctified method (among others) for enjoining Cosmotic Nature. It is an appreciation in what Nature has given us in flesh, and simultaneously a divine submission.
We do encourage Mature Seekers to select a Cosmotic environment with care (to avoid social reclamation), and to study and practice the sustaining of coitus and alignment of orgasms. Erotic reintegration is best performed with two participants to insure the correct degree of biological combustion. Onanistic procedures are possible, but we prescribe extended periods of abstinence beforehand.
