What I enjoy about game design is not only did I get to meet new people, I also got a chance to try to put what I had in my head as an idea as a game. Even when it was too ambitious I still was able to have fun doing it. I also got to explore what I wanted to do for college way more than I already was. It showed me what I was really into and got me to narrow down what I wanted to do as a career.In my opinion i think having a more horror based its going to take way more time to make a horror game then it does a normal platform game or a top down shooter but i'd like to one day get a chance to be part of a good enough team to put one together even though I didn't get a chance to make one during this session I still got a chance to learn how to code using construct which helps a whole lot more than the knowledge I had previously. Plan on having a career in tech regardless but game design or website design didnt catch my eye until recently this year and this club really confirmed that I wanted to have some part in creating games for everybody to play, not just myself. It feels good to hear someone compliment your game.
